Times Square, a major tourist attraction and one of the most colorful sights in New York City, is a great photo opp whether you have a serious camera or an iPhone (or another smartphone). For this particular photo, shot just as I was walking away away from the famous landmark, I used the phone and the app Camera +.
Although I was with a friend and rushing to get to Port Authority, I just had to stop and get the shot. The colors, reflected on the wet streets because of the recent rain, were what really got my attention.
Note: Times Square is technically on Broadway and Seventh Ave., from 42nd to 47th Streets. In the photo, I think I was on 42nd St, between 7th and 8th Ave–not in the heart of the action, but on the edge of it.

Your Experience?
Have you been to Times Square? If so, did you enjoy photographing it? Or did you spend more time walking through and checking it out?
Do you have a smartphone? If so, have you been finding that you’re taking more photos than before because the camera–I mean, phone–is with you 24/7?
