–Post your guesses here in the Comments Section (tweets and FB comments don’t count–sorry)

–Keep checking and guessing as the guessing gets good…

–See who won…maybe it will be you!

The Prize?

A mention of your name and a link to your site from within this post.

And the Winner Is….

Jeruen of Linguist in Waiting! He nailed it rather fast, I must say. I think this was the fastest round of thise game we’ve ever played. Congrats!

The Answer: Cross Section of a Banana Tree (Boquete, Panama)

I came across this unique sight when I was hiking in Boquete, Panama. To me, it looked like an odd eyeball inside a tree. Anyway, it’s really just a banana tree that had been cut in half for some reason.

By the way, Boquete, Panama, is not a low-lying area as you might think. It’s actually in the green mountain highlands of Panama in Chiriguí Province, not far from the Costa Rican Border. It’s 1,200 metres above sea level and has a cool, comfortable climate. Some of the best coffee in the world comes from this part of Panama, including Geisha.

Can’t get enough?

Like this game? Enjoy learning about new places? Here are all of the Trippy Travel Photos–guesses and winners–all on one page.
